Red, White, and Blue Quilt for Phyllis

Special red, white, and blue quilt for friend, Phyllis. Has one block with that Abraham Lincoln fabric, to celebrate President's Day. The outer border is some fun fabric with measure tape people running with needles and wearing thimbles on their button-heads! Again, the blocks in the center are each 1 inch square.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Kirsten has been busy putting this 100 block quilt together using all her favorite red and white stash.  All done!  In the home stretch she ran into some binding issues, but her friends, Mary and Kattie, helped her with the final touches, so it would be finished by Valentine's Day.   She finished her special red, white, and blue quilt, for her friend, on Tuesday.  She will post that photo in a few days.  Whew! As busy as she has been, she needs to take some time to do some other things.

Kirsten Back from the Spa and Planning Another Quilt

Kirsten is planning a red, white, and blue quilt for a friend.  She has decided to stay away from the brights and use some early 1900s style fabrics. She has a few blocks cut out already, but will need 100 to make her quilt.
Kirsten works with layout on her design wall.
