Learning to Stack N Whack

My friend and I went out to Marsing, to the quilt shop there.  They had so many wonderful fabrics.  I was looking for something to use in a Stack N Whack quilt, as my friend was going to be teaching some of us how to do that technique.  I found the nicest paisley in aqua, pink, and brown.  At the retreat in November, I learned how to do it and got all  my blocks finished. I am now adding the edge pieces and sewing it all together.  This is how it looks:

Blue Scrappy Quilt Completed!

I did get the binding finished last night.  Ms. Ebony helped me get photos of the front and the back.  The next one up on my list is the Sunset Sail, I started last summer.  I have to finish piecing it.

A Good Start in January!

I had this blue, green, brown, scrappy quilt on my design wall last August (2014).  I completed piecing the top in November.  I decided it would be best to finish it in January. So, I quilted it the second weekend in January and started on the binding.  I had a friend over tonight and was working on the binding while we visited.  Ebony really liked it. She wanted to lay on it while I was still working on the binding! Can you imagine such a thing?
