Adventures of Gracie!

I, Gracie, went on a road trip with C, to visit Kirsten and M in Arizona.  We stopped at the Nevada state line and took a photo.  We drove on to McGill where we visited an antique shop and did some exploring.

We spent the night in Ely and drove on, to Kingman, Arizona, the next day.  We did a little thrift store shopping for drapes for M and Kirsten's new place.  We also, drove to Glendale and visited K.  Kirsten and I had lots of fun exploring (with C and M) Route 66 places in Kingman and not too far from Kingman.

One day we went to Bullhead City.  Those photos are next.  The 'Welcome to Arizona' sign was at the river between Bullhead City, AZ, and Laughlin, NV.  We got my photo there, because we did not stop at the sign just south of Vegas, when we first came into Arizona.  We went to three quilt shops in Bullhead City, but C only got photos of me at two of them.
Kirsten and I at the Colorado River.
Kirsten and I on this gigantic turtle!  Route 66 has all kinds of oversized art.

This is the quilt shop where I got some of the fabric that I put in my Sunny Delight quilt!  It came in other colorways, and now I wish I had not been so restrained. Anyway, we went back to Kingman for a short rest then headed north on Route 66, to Antares, where the big green head is!
Me and the "Guardian of Route 66."
This is "Giganticus Headicus" and me!  While we were here, I got a couple of cool buttons for my plaid radical hat.

Apparently, one does not see too many of these anymore.
Before I knew it our fun time was coming to an end.  C and I headed back to Idaho.  We stopped this time, at the AZ/NV border. (I have cool pins on my hat now!)
Hoover Dam is at the border.  We visited the overlook!  You can see the dam in the background.
C took my photo at the Idaho border.  I'm wearing my new outfit, I got at First Friday in Kingman.  We had a wonderful adventure!
